Ifttt show no devices
When I use the tp link router option in ifttt and connect it to my tp link account, no devices are shown. Therefor I cannot create an alert for when a specific device connects or disconnects. What's up?

I just tried removing the IFTTT to tp-link connectiion and then reconnected it again to my tp-link account. Didn't make a difference.
Maybe I should mention that I use my M9 plus in AP mode. But that shouldnt make a difference, right????

I just had a collegue who also owns the M9 plus test it out. He was also unable to select a device in IFTTT....
Another collegue who uses the p7 does however see his device in the list!! Maybe the problem is only for M9 plus devices?

What is the firmware version of your Deco M9 plus? Is it 1.2.10 or 1.2.11? Please ensure that it is up to date.

If it is 1.2.10, you can update it 1.2.11 manually to give it a go.
Good day.

It is version 1.2.10
Any hints on how to install this firmware? I don't have a option inside the app to load it to my M9 and the .zip only contains a .bin file no installer of any kind

You can login to the web UI of the Deco M9 plus to update the firmware.
Below is the instruction:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2641/
And then you can go to system-firmware update page to do that.
After that, you can check whether the IFTTT works well.
May it help.

Hello, we found that your Deco works in AP mode, which does not support IFTTT. Instead, it is supported in router mode only.
You can change it back to the router mode to give it a go.
May it help.
Good day.
