Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V20
Firmware Version: Latest

I deleted my old network name (which was confirmed in the app) and went on to re-set my entire deco network (4 deco m9s).

with the fresh setup, it says I cannot use my old network name because it is occupied. How come? It was deleted!

How do I terminate this ghost-network?

@Ed69

How did you delete the old network name?

Try to power cycle the whole wifi system and re-set the Deco network name.

If still the same, you can hold the reset hole for 1s to reset it and start it from the scratch.

May it help.
