I have the c1200 with the latest firmware. I don't know how to manually upgrade the firmware. If this is a fix for the reboot just make it an option to update from the router!

Thanks @Kevin_Z
I installed the beta firmware today for my AC1200 and I'll be monitoring it, hopefully the issue was fixed with the upgrade. I'll post back with any update.

I installed the beta firmware for Ac1200 V2 US but I keep getting an error on any browsers that I used.
Error message:
NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID in Opera and something about "Product RooT CA" in Firefox.
I tried clearing all my cache, browsing history, disbable antivirus. but still no luck. I have to go back to the previous firmware 180117 . Everything was working fine for 3 years, problem started last week.

@Kevin_Z after installing firmware uncontrolled random rebooting seems to be gone, but I cannot open router management interface from Chrome. When opening http://192.168.0.1 it redirects to http://192.168.0.1/webpages/error.1516243669548.html and shows message "No such file or directory". I can open this through MS Edge browser successfully though.

I have the C9 and I'm having the exact same problems. All lights go out and it randomly resets itself.

Hello, thanks for reporting the issue but please provide some details about the auto-reboot issue then we will try to investigate and offer a solution ASAP.
When the router restarts, are all the LEDs turn off then on automatically and the internet on it will temporarily down then recover? How long does this process take?
May I have your network layout, how is the C9 connected in your network? Are there any other range extenders or switch in the network? If yes, try to remove it first and confirm again.
Who is your ISP and what kind of modem are you using? Is it a Dynamic IP setup on the C9 WAN or PPPoE?
How many devices are connected to C9, wired, and wirelessly? What are they? Is there any new device connected to the C9 network recently when the C9 begins to reboot? Or did you upgrade any system in the network before this issue happen?
Is there any other setting or feature in your network that may cause this restart issue, or is there any special operation/activity in your network that causes the C9 to restart, such as high loading or real-time calls?
Is it the original power adapter on the C9? Is the power stable in your house? How about other electrical devices in your house, are they stable?
Does this issue happen when you purchased it or happens recently? Try to reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure it from scratch, then confirm again.

Hello, after installing the beta firmware we provided, the C1200 still reboot automatically? Is the auto-reboot phenomenon the same as before?
Try to reset it to factory defaults and reconfigure it from scratch, don't import the previous configure file into the router, then confirm again.
If none of these steps helps, please check if it is still in warranty and you may contact the local tech support team to check if they can help with the replacement:
