WA854RE DHCP Error
I have a WA854RE that is not working. I am able to connect to it and the it connect back to my main router setup page, but I can not connect to the internet. When I look at the access logs it is unable complete the DHCP pull from my main router.
My main router has an IP of 192.168.0.1 gives the range extender an IP address (192.168.0.100). The Range Extender status says DHCP is Auto (On). It also lists Type as Dynamic (failed). Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Daniel

A quick update. I can log in and under network settings I can see setting the RE IP address manually, but the lower portion where I can turn on or off the DHCP is not there. Any alternative ideas out there?

Hello, what is the led status of the TL-WA854RE? Below is the setup instruction you can refer to:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/tl-wa854re/#video
Note: Please use the main router's wifi password to configure it.
Please login to the web interface of the TL-WA854RE and show us screenshots of the settings-status page and the settings-network page.
Besides, what iis the model number of your main router? And do you know its hardware and firmware version?
Thanks in advance. And Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the reply. All of the RE LEDs are solid on.
The main router is an ARRIS: TG3492LG-LC.

Hello, thanks for your reply.
Please degrade the firmware from 20190801 to 20181204. The steps are the same as upgrading firmware.

After that, please login to the web UI of TL-WA854RE and setup a static IP for the extender; then turn on the DHCP server and reconfigure the extender to give it a go.
Any updates, please let us know.
Good day.

Thanks,
When I open the link, I only see V2 firmware (TL-WA854RE(EU)V2_150916) not V3. I can not find any V3 version of the firmware. I am accessing it from Switzerland.
