Hello, I just ordered an Archer MR600 and a set of Deco M4 (x3) with the idea that the deco and archer are one-mesh compatible. After reading literature I think that the deco is not compatible with one mesh. Somebody can confirm or let me know if a firmware evolution could  bring this compatibility ?

Any way, I assume I can use the deco M4 linked in ethernet with the archer MR600 and create a mesh through the Deco M4 WiFi mesh ?

thanks for your help.

Hello Patatorz, the Deco M4 does not support Onemesh feature. Below is the Onemesh compatibility list you can refer to.

https://www.tp-link.com/onemesh/compatibility/

While the Deco M4 supports mesh feature, you can use the three Deco M4 to build up the mesh network. Below is the instruction to setup the Deco.

May it help.

Thanks for your reply.

The Deco series product is excluded from Onemesh compatibility list. So there is no plan to add this feature to Deco M4 yet at least.

And for the future plan, it is hard to say; it is suggested to keep an eye on official websites to get the updates.

May it help.

@Patatorz

Were you able to use them as one system?

If it cannot be added as mesh, I may have to use MR600 as modem

I wish I had read this post before, i just bought TP Archer MR600 AC1200 and a set of Deco M4s thinking TP link systems will integrate and create a single mesh network. Hope future firmwares will allow this.  This means system I have is all TP link but no different to picking up google mesh system and use MR600 as 4g modem.
