Acer laptop causing Archer C7 AC1750 to stop working
Just bought an Acer Aspire 5 laptop and tried setting it up.
Soon after connecting to my TPLink AC1750 Archer C7 router, the WiFi went down in the entire house. I reset the router and after a couple of resets, i was able to connect all devices ... however as soon as i tried the laptop again, the network went down again.
I reset both the router TPLink and my modem Hitron .. but still the same issue with the new laptop.
For now I have shutdown the laptop, and internet connectivity has been stable since then.
Any advice please (or do I simply have to return the Acer laptop to the store)
thanks!!

Update !! ... I setup the Asus laptop this morning (this one does not have the Qualcomm Atheros adapter), and no issues at all.
So, unfortunately there seems to be an incompatibility between the Qualcomm adapter and my version of the TP-Link Archer AC1750 router
thanks!

May I know what is the model number of the Acer Aspire 5 laptop?
And what is the model number of the network adapter built-in the laptop? You can contact the tech support of Acer to get this information.
Besides, what is the hardware and firmware version of the Archer C7?
Thanks in advance. Happy New Year.

Hi Kevin
This was a laptop that I bought for my son, and he didnt feel comfortable owning it due to the issues it was causing. So,I went to BestBuy and returned it just now. got an Asus laptop instead.
Based on my research yesterday, I think it was a Qualcomm Atheros Wifi adapter in the laptop which was causing the problem .. so i made sure this new Asus that I bought, does not have the Qualcomm adapter.
Will set it up tonight or tomorrow, and post an update whether the issue happens even with this laptop or not.
thanks again for all your support
Regards!!
