Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

Hi

I have a random device connecting to my network periodically and cannot work out what it is. It just registers as InPro Comm which seems to be a fairly widely used chipset.

I want to block it until I can work out what it is but it'll reconnect once I've blacklisted it.

Is it possible to block it completely (it has the same MAC)or, even more ideally, block all and whitelist only those devices I want to connect?

Thanks in advance.

@Daman

Hello, you can add this device into the blacklist. Below is the instruction:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1796/

The Deco does not support whitelist yet, while you can adjust the wireless settings, including wireless network name and password. Then those devices won't be able to connect to the Deco's wifi unless they know the new wifi password.

May it help.
