Hi everyone..

I'm getting to the last barrier to my Router USB printer working....

The UPS is seeing my printer now but the last hurdle is the Printer Setup program. It is not comatible with Windows 8 apparently. The one I downoaded of the support site doesn't run either. Any news off one coming out for Win 8?

I found that they have already released the win8 -compatible USB Printer Controller Utility on their official website.

Thanks for the reply..

I did email TP Link and they pointed to the same download.... I think I am missing something (obvious?)

I can see my printer in the USB printer controller utility but i have no printer showing in my applications.. Hence I 'thought' the other program needed to run

TD-W8968_v1_USB_Print Service_utility

This is the one that won't run under Win 8...

It now seems I don't need it to run.. but I still can't see my printer in any applications.. any help appreciated
