Archer C1200 as access point
I have connected my Archer C1200 router to a Cisco EPC3925 modem/router and set it up as an access point (fixed IP in the correct range of the EPC3925, DHCP off). I have multiple devices connected wireless as well as 1 device by cable on LAN port 2. Everything works fine, speed is OK but the LED that indicates "Internet Access" is off.
Is this just because it is an access point?
Thanks in advance.

The internet access led will come on to indicate that the internet is available in regular router mode; it won't come on in AP mode.
The current status is normal and other devices can access internet from it, all those means that the Archer C1200 works well.
May it help.

How to configure TP-Link Router in Access Point mode?
In this mode, your router connects to a wired or wireless router via an Ethernet cable and extends the wireless coverage of your existing network. Advanced functions like NAT, Parental Controls and QoS are not supported in this mode.
