Firmware Version:

Model RE305 v3.0

Firmware 1.1.0 build 20191202

I'm already using router LAN without Wifi and one extender RE305 in access point mode to provide wifi at home. I consider buying 2nd extender (RE305/RE450) and to connect it to 2nd port in my router in the same configuration (AP mode). Will these two device use Onemesh? Thanks.

@matiho

Hello, for your information, at least one Onemesh router and one network expansion device which supports Onemesh needed to build up a Onemesh network.

When the two extenders work in access point mode, there is no Onemesh router available, they cannot create a Onemesh network together.

Besides, the Onemesh feature is not supported in AP mode.

May it help.
