We just bought one of these things a few weeks ago. We have had nothing but problems. After upgrading our internet speed, we still did not see an improvement in stability. We kept geting kicked out of our school meetings and business meetings. After sitting on the chat for two hours because they are not taking phones calls, we discovered that I needed to change the broadband width and setit manually. We did that and everything was great for four days. Last night, it completely dropped our signal. I connected directly to modem to be sure it wasn't the ISP, which it was not. Our 5Ghz works just fine and if you connect to a LAN port it is okay, but 2.4 Ghz is essentiall worthless. We get 454mbps down through the modem 400 connected to the LAN. On the 2.4 G band, we only get 55mbps and sometimes 88mbps. However, we are still getting 22 on the upload. Now, our case has been sent to an email status with a superior tech. We will see. This thing might be going back really soon.

@ghl So far, I am not holding my breath. The unfortunate thing is that all of the routers I have been looking at that compare all of the same complaints. I am to the point that i hinestly have no clue which one to go with. I am tired of wasting my time on it.

@WarbirdNut909 I'm still waiting they release a firmware that fix this thing that they call Ax6000.. but until they release, I just bought Ax20 v1.20 that they release a new firmware few days ago. I have two repeaters here, and Fiber 300MB, and it's works fine over wireless in both frequencies.. I got 300/300 everytime that i test and it has less than half price insted AX6000.. maybe it could be an option for you.

@ghl How much of a difference is there between the 2.4 and the 5G? I have 454 mbps and 20 mbps up when I connected directly to my modem. On 5G, I see the same. 2.4, I am barely getting over 100 mbps. I could have sworn that I was getting 200 mgbs last week.

@localhost192 So today, all wifi devices have no access to the internet. My wired desktop and another wired computer are the only devices that can access the internet. Both are wired to the router. All other wifi devices can't connect. Just spend a hour on support chat with TP Link and no resolution yet. Neither the AX6000 or the RE505x are working. This is really frustrating especially with five people at home all need to do work and shool stuff via the internet. My son nearly missed a college exam and my daughters are both missing tests.

Hello, as confirmed with our R&D previously, the Onemesh firmware for the AX6000 is expected to be released in the late of December or early 2021, please keep an eye on the official website as well as on your router web interface.
Back to the issue you are experiencing, do you mean none of your wireless devices can connect to the AX6000's network? Can you still see the wireless network showing up on your phone or laptop? If yes, what is the error message when you tried to connect to it?
It is suggested to reset the AX6000 to factory defaults first, then reconfigure it from scratch, leave the RE505x disconnected, check again if you can connect to the wireless network.
