@Kevin_Z

Ok Kevin. The extender took ages to give the note 10 an ip address. Too long to be of any use. Also 2 other devices were without internet at the same time which were very near the extender.

Alll were showing as unknown devices with a 0.0.0.0 ip address.

The xtender is now an extender only with mesh and smart connect on router turned off. It has the same wi fi names as the ax6000 and it works ok.

I will try on the weekend your suggestion of reinstate mesh but leave smart off.

@Cawsie

Thank you very much for getting back with the detailed info. Kindly give it a go to disable the Smart Connect while leave the Onemesh on, then monitor again.

@localhost192 I finally updated the software to enable OneMesh for my AX6000 and RE505X.  I have the RE505X set up as a wired access point.  There is no OneMesh in the menu for it when I checked after the firmware update of the AX6000.  What's the deal?  I switched the RE505x to extender mode and then it showed up.  Seems shortsighted to not be able to us the RE505X as a wired extender and use OneMesh at the same time.  I need a range extender because it's far away from the main router!

@Scott180 @ghl

The OneMesh™ products can’t support the Ethernet backhaul. We currently only have Deco supports the Ethernet backhaul.

Hi @Kevin_Z

I have three AX 6000 and two RE605, it possible to connect  all of AX 6000 and extenders in one WiFi network with "onemesh" support, or AX 6000 works only with extenders, without possibility to works with each other??

Tnx for your answer,

@XZeal

Are all the three AX6000s and two RE605s in the same location? Unfortunately, the Onemesh router can only build up the Onemesh network with the Onemesh RE or Onemesh PLC. In your situation, we think Deco mesh would be more suitable for your needs:

But please also keep in mind that the Onemesh devices are not compatible with Deco mesh, they cannot build up the same mesh network:
