Hi,

I'm currently using Astro IPTV that comes with Maxis internet 100mbps. 

Was trying to set up my Deco today - just cannot connect to internet. Is it because it's locked to IPTV? Tried other ports on TM Modem but also cannot. 

 

Anyone gone through this before?

Having the same problem with you but lousy service from tp link.

Any solutions from them? Mind to share? Thx

hi there, yes it was solved, you will need to plug your deco into the Maxis router instead of directly from the modem.

From Deco app, disable 5ghz connection for the router. Then try to connect Astro to wifi again. It should successful. If successful, re-enable 5ghz again in the app. The wifi connection in Astro should still be connected, well at least in my case I'm using Deco M4. But it should be working with M5 as well.

Hi, Frez did not have Deco M5 so I am afraid he could not help you run the test;

Have you tested the suggestion of disabling the 5ghz?

And please also try to turn off the fast roaming/beamforming on the Deco APP as well;
