Model: AC50
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 0.2 v0093.0 Build 190125 Rel.63783n(4555)

* Enable Parental Control

* Access Control Rule

Configure MAC Address to control internet traffic scheduling

When you configure to ALLOW traffic, ALL TRAFFIC are ALLOWED, schedule is USELESS

When you configure to DENY, ALL Traffic will be denied, rules and schedule are all USELESS

Temporary Solution:    Manual ON/Off  the "Parental Control"

CC Techincal: Please send us the link for the updated version of the firmware for us to update specifically for "Parental Control".

@Kevin_Z

Manual configuratio doesn't help...

The version of this model is not working...

I know how to configure however, the firmware version needs more improvement not just for display only.

Question:  Meanwhile, may I know what is your network request? Do you want to block some devices to access internet?

Deny/Allow all access base on schedule, even simple Parental Control will not work at all.

When the config is Deny then all access to the internet will be denied regardless of schedule.

When the config is Allow then all access to the internet will be Allowed regardless of schedule.

Target: Deny/Alllow base on speciic time automatically.

@Braveins

You can choose one of them to block internet access at specific time.

For the parental control, you can add the devices you want to block into the parental control list and choose the time period; for the URL bar, if you want to block internet access, then do not enter any website; Then these devices won't be able to access internet during the specific time period.

Or you can use access control to block internet as well; similarly, do not enter any keywords as allowed websites in the URL, then these devices won't get internet.

If it still does not work, please describe how did you set them up; or you can show us some screenshots.

Good day.

Easy to say but the device is not working as intended.

I'm a IT/Network Engineer... I know very well the basic to advance config.

FYI: I'm using MAC Address to Allow/Deny on the config but no luck...

What I need you guys, is the upgraded version of Archer C50 v4 00000002. not V3

the available firmware on this link is obsolete, where the v5 or v4.x

Actual image of the device it's version 4(V4)
