Archer C6 keeps losing internet connection
Hi there! I recently bought the Archer C6 and it keeps losing internet connection (every one or two hours).
The internet led goes orange and I have to turn off /on the router so it start working again.
Didn't find any solution on Tp-link forums to now 😐

How often it loose connection?
What do you mean by switching the modes? Can you get internet from the modem/internet source when C6 stops working?
If so you can connect your laptop back to the C6 by wired cable to clone the mac address.
Good day.

I'm having the same issue since last firmware update (I have this router for 6 months now). I'm in Spain, with FFTH line.

@makhan I'm sorry, but do not understand what you mean with "Check setting cloud certification for personnel"

Hey guys, check the Kevin_Z tip highlighted at the top. Cloning the notebook Mac address did work for me!

I just bought one and facing same issue if router restarts post setup. I need to reset it to get the WAN connection and continues to display that cable is unplugged.

Have you checked my previous suggestion that try to clone the PC's MAC to the C6 router if you get a stable connection when connecting the PC directly to the ISP modem?
If it shows a "cable is unplugged" error, you are suggested to check the cable between the modem and the router, ensure that cable is good, and it is firmly plugged in on both side. You can also try with another cat5e or cat6 cable.

@adios You need to be more specific but not just you have the same issue, as the issue reported here seems not exactly the same.
Is the WAN showing WAN port unplugged when the internet drops? Or it just displays an orange LED on the router when it disconnects. Who is your ISP? Be sure you got a stable connection when connecting a computer directly to the ISP modem bypassing the router with the same Ethernet cable first, then check again if there is still a WAN IP address on the router web page when the internet disconnects.
If there is still a WAN IP address on the router when it disconnects from the internet, you can try to change the DNS server on the router to something like 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 ((go to Advanced > Network > Internet), then reboot it again.
