will there be future firmware updates for the P7 or is it "dead" now?
The competition is constantly improving and adding new features but TP-Link is not doing a lot on this front.

Hello, the Deco P7 is not the end of life, we are still working on it. You do not have to worry about it.
Although the estimated release time of the new firmware is still unsure, it is suggested to keep an eye on Deco app/official website for more information.

Will P7 ever support LLMNR protocol, so it can't resolve Local Hostname? I was surprised (negatively), that it's not supported in current Firmware (1.3.1).

Love the hardware but the half-baked software makes me regret buying it.

Because of lack of more features in router department, I have bought other company’s router which can be set as I wish and now I use Deco only in AP Mode. But it lacks also in this area. It does not support VLAN tagging and multiple WiFi SSID. As much as I like the hardware, software is not mature and lacks some basic features. Network Isolation (new feature in last firmware) is insufficient for most deployment. For example: I would like to let kids use printer and streaming device but will not have access to router or any business laptops. I will probably sell Deco and buy smth else. Done waiting.

I also have disconnecting problems, similar like so many other here complaints.
I have been patiently waiting a firmware fix but time has ended.
I am changing brand, cant stand this anymore.
