What is the current hardware version of the TL-MR6400? Below is the instruction to get it.

Please ensure that the network type of the sim card is compatible with the MR6400.
Does the SIM card work well with it inserted in the cellphone directly?
You can hard reset the MR6400 by holding the reset button/hole for 10s and verify whether it can be detected,

Thanks for your information. If the SIM card still cannot be detected, you can contact the retailer or the local tech support to get a replacement first if qualified.
Note: You can provide the model number, serial number, invoice when you reach out to the support.
Best regards.
