Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I have an Archer T2U AC600 USB key which worked very well under windows 7. I used the SoftAP mode as an access point to control certain PC software with my ipad and iphone and of course wireless. I just exceeded my PC under windows 10 and I no longer have access to the softAP mode which remains grayed out. Anyone has this problem?

@reidid789

Hello, the Windows 10 does not support SoftAP mode, instead, you can use the built-in mobile hotspot to satisfy your needs.

Below is the instruction to configure it:

May it help.

Good evening Kevin_Z

Thank you for your answer
It's not enough.
I explain again my problem: I use the TouchOSC software which allows you to drive in both directions a Windows 10 PC software and an ipad and / or an iphone ... Under W7 the SoftAP mode of my AC600 key allowed me to create a local wireless link between my different PC, ipad and iphone devices. Under W10 I understood that the SoftAP mode was no longer managed but there must be a way to receive this "small local network" to discuss these three devices over Wifi ??? !!!
I'm not talking about sharing an internet connection or a public wifi network

To use the functionality of TouchOSC https://hexler.net/products/touchosc I need to connect a W10 PC to Wifi using an iPad. It was simple with a W7 PC with SoftAP mode. But now that my PC is in W10 it no longer supports SoftAP mode, how do I do with my Archer AC600 key?
I am reformulating but am I the only one having this problem?

Good evening,
I found thanks to this tutorial and I will share it with you:

https://www.presse-citron.net/tuto-mardi-creer-point-dacces-wifi-pc-windows-10/

It works perfectly and I get this as a network : see IMG7569

The only problem now is to save this network configuration. Because when the PC reboots the studiodid network disappears and you have to launch it again. It's annoying!
Can someone help me ...
