Archer C7 V5 does not recognize external drive
Hi guys,
I have a Seagate Expansion+ 4TB Model: SRD0NF2 hard drive. Currently my router does not detect it when I plug it in the USB port and I get the "Found 0 disks" message when I scan for a device. The funny thing is it was working a week ago. In the last week I have been backing up other disks to this one and performed some housekeeping (delete unnecessary/duplicate files). I did it through a PC, not the router and the Seagate was disconnected. When I connected it back it is not being found anymore. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

@Svilen I have a similar issue with the same hard drive and router (though older version v2)... except mine recognizes it, just shows space of only 196MB for a 4TB hard drive! I know this doesn't help you, but figure issue may be related given same hard drive so piggy backing on your thread and hopefully bouncing it to the top.

With another hard drive plugged into the USB port, can it be detected?
You can try to format the SD card after you backup all the files and connect it back to the C7.
Besides, you can repeat what you have done before through the router to do a comparative analysis.
Good day.

@Kevin_Z I cannot backup and format a 4 TB drive, especially considering I bought it specifically for my backups. :) No encryption also. Plus - the same drive was working before.
