Archer C50 as extender
I bought two of these Archer C50 (AC1200) routers. They say they can be used in Access Point mode. What i want is for one of them to be an Access Point to the other's Router so that i have one Wireless network on throughout the house so that I dont have to switch APs when I move around.
Can this be accomplished with these routers?

Hello, below is the instruction to configure Archer C50 as access point.
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2066/
If there is no operation mode available, you can switch the Archer C50 to access point mode manually.
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/417/
And then you can connect the access point to the router by wired cable to boost wifi signal.
May it help.

Hello, I'm having another problem with the same router. I just bought new archer c50, and trying to connect it as wireless repeater (extender), also I want my PC to be connected to it (like normal LAN).
I've tried to follow this guide: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1083/
But my DHCP section is located in another place and System Parameters are missing.
Please help

@FatnGristle update your router to the latest firmware.
then open tether app, go to operation mode in the tools, you will find an option as range extender select that and save changes.
download the latest firmware at https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202007/20200728/Archer%20C50(EU)_V4_200608.zip

- First, you Reset the C50 login using details supplied in back of C50 router either Wireless or via LAN cable. After-that,
Go Network >
LAN > Give a static IP having same range of your C60 (e.g., if c60 has 192.168.1.50, give c50 as 192.168.1.51) >
Reboot Login using new c50's IP >
Wireless >
Enable WDS >
Scan for the SSID (WiFi Network Name) of your c60 router >
Enter WiFi password and save. - You will see above the Enable WDS box, there are setting for WiFI name/ password for your c50 router.
- You can have same WiFi details of your C60 or can give new WiFi name/ password if required.
- Most likely C50 has separate setting for 5GHz & 2.4GHz WiFi, you can keep 2.4GHz disabled also.
- In C50, go to DHCP > and Disable the DHCP server.
