This modem just supports 2.4Ghz, to use the 5GHz, you can replace it with a dual-band modem router or connect it to a dual-band wireless router.
To improve the 2.4Ghz speed, you can try to change the wireless channel to 1,6 or 11, change the bandwidth to 40MHz.
