Can I use more than 1 range extenders in the house but instead of connecting them both to the host router's wifi directly, connect one to the host router's Wi-Fi network directly and the other one to the first range extender. I have a dead spot (my basement) and I'm trying to get wifi there.

Thank you in advance for your help,

George

@George_Greek

Hi George, theoretically, you can connect them like modem--main router ))((first RE ))(( Second RE))((Third RE. While cause the wireless performance will be affected a lot by the distance, obstacles, and interference. It is not suggested to connect them as daisy-chained.

If the whole house running under the same power circuit, you can use powerline adapters with wifi function to boost wifi signal. Like TL-WPA8630KIT, TL-WPA7510KIT.

Or you can consider the Mesh products, like Deco series.

Good day.
