Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.1

I have set up my device but have entered the same password for both the 2.4 and th 5 ghz bands and would like to change them to be distinct per bandwidth

Can anyone point me to how I would do this, please?

Cheers

Harry

@HarryCat

Hi Harry, the wireless password of the RE450 is the same as the main router's. It can not be customized.

If you want to use different passwords for 2.4GHz and 5GHz respectively, you can change it on the main router and reconfigure the RE450 with the new password.

@Kevin_Z

Hi, I just set up my M9. When I go to connect my devices, all I see is one network option. There is no choice between 2.4 or 5.0.

Do I need to set up a second network to distinguish and turn off one or the other? Ex: Network2.4 and Network5.0?

Also, if I just use the one network with both 2.4 and 5.0 toggled on (like the default setting) which band will my devices use? Is there an advantage to one set up or the other.

Thanks so much for your help!
