Hi Support.

 

I only purchased this device during the week as like a lot of people I'm now working from Home.  The idea was to enable the QOS and Prioritise the connection for work related traffic.  However when I enable Qos and set my Work laptop as a priority machine the performance is dreadful and it keeps losing the connection.  However when I run it without QOS the performance is backt to normal,  but obviously is impacted by other network traffic.

 

Please advise.

What is the current firmware version? Please ensure that it is the latest one. 

 

Try to enable QoS only but do not enable device priority to give it a shot.

It says. Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20190726 Rel. 57101 (4555) It should be the latest I only refreshed it yesterday

Hi Support.

 

I've added the device as a static ip address and re-enabled the QOS.  All working now.  Thanks
