T4E adapter unable to connect to 5GHz wifi network
I just installed the Archer T4E AC 1200 Wireless PCIe adapter and it is unable to connect to my 5GHz WiFi network.
I am running 65-bit Windows 10 Home.
I tried the already-installed Windows 10 driver, the TP-Link driver that came with the adapter, and the driver here on TP-Link's website.
None of these drivers enabled me to connected to my 5GHz network. My wireless router is a TP-Link Archer C7 V1 with firmware 3.15.1 Build 141204 Rel.39308n.
I read in a few places that the wireless network has to be setup correctly (e.g. Channel 40) however this has not worked either. I've tried several different things but I'm just guessing. Is there a solution to this problem?
Please advise.
Thank you!
