Am not able to reset my router password using default username and password

Hi my router model is WR740N.
Am not able to reset my password. Could you please help me in this.

Do you mean the wireless password of the login password.
For the wireless password, you need log into the web UI of TL-WR740N and go to wireless settings page to change it and save it.
If it is the login password, you can go to system tools-administration page to change it; or you can hard reset it by holding the reset button/hole for 10s with this router powered on.
