Hi, we cannot do it remotely. You can upgrade the firmware by your own, which is easy. 

 

Below is the instruction to upgrade the firmware.

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/699/

 

You need download the latest firmware first and unzip it. then connect your computer to the 901ND to log into the web UI to update the firmware.
