Problem: Access Point as WiFi Pepeater
Hi everyone, I have a TL -WA901ND that I want to use as a repeater. Right know I'm not using it because I've got another router for the WiFi. When I try to search for 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.254 or http://tplinkap.net the page does NOT load. So I can't set the access point as a repeater.
Any ideas of what I should do?
Thanks, Gabe

Hi Gabe, please hold the reset button for 10s with the access point powered on. And then you can log into the web UI again.
Note: You can change another device, another web browser to access the web interface as well.
Below is the instruction to set it up as a repeater.

@Kevin_Z Thanks for your replay. I still can't figure out a way to fix this problem. The TP link router is not active at the moment so if I connect the PC to the router (wireless), it won't let me load the page because there is no internet connection. (I have another router that provides me internet connection).
I tryed to connect the active router to the TP link router with a cable so that I'm able to surf the web through the TP Link router. But still I can't load the page I need to...
I also tryed with Microsoft Edge but I got the same problem. It returns me an error message.
Maybe I have to search for another IP? Since the TP Link router in not the Access Point anymore. It's just a router I have and that I don't want to throw away since it still works.
Thankyou, Gabe

Hi, we do not need internet access to access the web UI. The access point has a built-in web interface. As long as you connect your device to it and obtain valid IP address from it, you can log into the web UI.
You can check the computer's IP address and gateway first, it should be 192.168.0.x, gateway should be 192.168.0.254; if it is not, you can setup a static IP for it to access the web interface then.

I've connected my Pc to the router. The ip address I've to browse is the one on the bottom of the router (192.168.1.254)? If so, it's not working.
