Good day

I have an archer C20 modem with 10/100 Mbps ethernet ports. I am considering purchasing either the Deco E4 (10/100 Mbps ethernet) or Deco M4 (gigabit ethernet) to connect via this modem. My understanding is that the master Deco unit would connect to the ethernet port of the modem. Given that my modem only has a 10/100Mbps ethernet port, is there any benefit to purchasing the higher bandwidth M4 model over the E4?

Thanks!

Miguel

Hi Miguel, it is suggested to use the Deco as the main router no matter which Deco you purchase. The Archer C20 can work as an access point to boost wifi signal.

And compared to Deco E4, the Deco M4 is stronger and it has the gigabit ethernet ports, considering there is a possibility to upgrade the bandwidth over 100Mbps, you won't have to purchase a new device if you have had Deco M4.

Good day.
