Model: Archer A2300
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version:

Hi everyone I was wondering if you could help me?

I brought the TL-WR940N Router and I'm struggling to set up the WiFi and Wireless connection on my Playstation 4 and on my Laptop.

Do you have any advice on what I can do as on my PS4 it needs a Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary and Secondary D.N.S and I'm not sure where to find all of this information

I look forward to hearing of you

Many Thanks

Dave

@DaveKirkland

Hi Dave, did you want to set up static IP for the PS4? Theoretically, the PS4 will obtain the IP address, gateway, subnet mask and DNS server automatically from the router once it is connected to the wifi.

Please ensure that you use the dynamic IP. If you want to setup static IP, the subnet mask will be 255.255.255.0, gateway is the LAN IP of the router, which is 192.168.0.1 by default, DNS server is 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.

May it help.
