@Kevin_Z

1. I did that, I got similar speeds 630-700 down, 40-43 up (hardwire gigabit connection)

2. I tried connecting a different computer via wifi, I got 400-550 down, 40-42 up

3. There was nothing else running at the time. I tried it from a Windows computer and a Mac

@TomDumoI am having the same issue. I have tried all the things that were posted to do. So I hooked up my AC5400 router and my speed almost trippeld. Since I hooked up my AX11000 router my speed lost almost 2/3's. Now I wish I would of never purchased this router. $400.00 down the drain. Does anyone have a solution yet to this problem?

@Phxkid, as some other mentioned before, I also noticed that activating QoS resulted in reduced speed.
Deactivating this fixed it for me.
Since then, no issues at all anymore and very happy about this router.

Hope you get your issues solved soon!

Hi, I have the same problem. Specs: ISP: Comcast Speed: 1200 mbps download, 35 mbps upload Tried all the steps that were in this thread. Still, the download speed is not reaching above ~600 mbps. Tested speed using the tool built inside the router and also using a wired MacBook. Direct wired connection to the modem from and I am able to get ~1000mbps.

@TomDumo I did a factory reset and it is now working fine.

@akg11

Try TomDumo's suggestions to check the QoS settings on the AX11000, or you can follow the guide to disable it:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3069/

If this doesn't help, you can also try Phxkid's suggestion to reset the router to factory defaults which will clear all settings on the router, then set it up to connect to the internet again. This time, don't change any advanced settings, test the speed to check if it is normal. If this is normal, then you can configure the required settings one by one, test the speed after you made a change, try to find out what settings on the router will cause a speed loss.

@Kevin_Z

Tried both options.

None of them help.

@Phxkid
Did you redo your settings differently or restore/input the previous settings?
