TP Link QoS Bandwith Control Work Explanation
Hi, Can someone explain how TP link bandwith rules are work? i cant find the detail explanation
In Bandwith control i should fill the Egress and Igress which i get from ISP. And in the Bandwidth Control Rules, i have to fill IP and Egress and Igress Speed for each IP Range.
In this scenario let say i have 1000kbps for each upload and download speed bandwith from isp and i setting bandwith for 5 users
A. Setting A
Description | Priority | Egress Bandwidth | Ingress Bandwidth
Min | Max | Min | Max | ||
192.168.0.2-192.168.0.6 /1-65535 /ALL | 1 | 100 | 1000 | 100 | 1000 |
B. Setting B
Description | Priority | Egress Bandwidth | Ingress Bandwidth
Min | Max | Min | Max | ||
192.168.0.2 /1-65535 /ALL | 1 | 100 | 1000 | 100 | 1000 |
192.168.0.3 /1-65535 /ALL | 1 | 100 | 1000 | 100 | 1000 |
192.168.0.4 /1-65535 /ALL | 1 | 100 | 1000 | 100 | 1000 |
192.168.0.5 /1-65535 /ALL | 1 | 100 | 1000 | 100 | 1000 |
192.168.0.6 /1-65535 /ALL | 1 | 100 | 1000 | 100 | 1000 |
my questions are:
1. Is setting A and setting B has different effect configuration?
2. If all 5 users are conneted. User 1 is downloading file and user 2,3,4,5 just standby (connected to wifi, but doesnt use much data). Can user 1 get max speed (1000kbps) or only get 600kbps? (because 400kbps kept as a reserve for remaining users although not using the traffic).
3. if only 3 users are connected, is the minimum speed changed (100kbps + 200kbps/3)?
4. If all 5 users are conneted and downloading file who can get the max speed?
