Hi everybody,

 

i've a Fritzbox 7530 and i would like to use the Deco P7 as router; (the fritzbox doesn't have the possibility to exclude the router part and works only as modem) so if i disable the Fritzbox Wifi, is there the possibility to connect Deco (as router) to the Fritzbox and use the Deco wifi?

Yep, you can connect the Deco to your Fritzbox and set it up. During the configuration process, the Deco app will guide you to create the Deco wifi.

After the setup, you can connect to Deco's Wi-Fi network and enjoy the internet.

deco will work as Router or as Access Point?

After you configured the Deco with the Deco app, it works in the Router mode. But you can change the working mode to AP mode if needed.
