Wifi security WPA2 AES missing in Deco M9 Plus?
This thread has been locked for further replies. You can start a new thread to share your ideas or ask questions.I am trying to connect my car ( Volvo XC60 ) to my Wifi. The car wants me to change WPA2 to AES instead of TKIP!
So no connection!
Connection to another Wifi router with WPA2 AES is OK!
I can not find any place in the Deco M9 settings to change Wifi security!
Any clues??

You may need to upgrade firmware manually, through upgrade tool or web interface, if app refuses. Both NA and EU M9 Plus have 1.4 firmware as latest. See instructions on Deco M9 firmware page and in this forum.
Hint: if you grabbed the latest firmware, but manual update refuses to proceed, take one before it and try with it. Apparently, Deco does not like to skip upgrade versions.

@Alexandre. This did the trick. Manual update through the Update Tool first and then when I opened the Deco App it found an even newer version I could install and now everything is at it should. Thanks!

I cannot adjust the security level on my iPhone to WPA2.
I already reset the Deco M9 Plus, refreshed and update the app on my phone.
And had a look on your site.
My iMac and Windows computers do not accept your down for firmware updates because of security issues and Firewall-issues.
Please help me out?

Hi, welcome to the community.
I see from the cloud server that your current firmware is 1.2.11 which is a little old since the latest firmware for Deco M9 plus is 1.5.6 build 20211018.
