I have a TL-WR902AC travel router with the following firmware/hardware out of the box.

Firmware Version:0.9.1 0.1 v0089.0 Build 170828 Rel.57433n(4555)

Hardware Version:TL-WR902AC v3 00000001

 

Renecently, I have downloaded the latest firmware from tp-link website "TL-WR902AC(US)_V3_191209.zip".

I got "Error code: 4503 The uploaded file was not accepted by the device." error upon select "TL-WR902ACv3_US_0.9.1_0.2_up_boot[191209-rel57116].bin" and press upgrade. 

 

Please help.

I update mine last month without issues. But mine is th EU version. Have you downloaded the correct one?

Hardware version:TL-WR902AC v3 00000001

 

I am not able to upgrade to TL-WR902ACv3_EU_0.9.1_0.3_up_boot[191018-rel34369]

 

Getting following error
Error code: 4503
The uploaded file was not accepted by the device.

Hi, as responded in this thread that it seems this 0.9.1 0.2 v008a.0 Build 191209 Rel.57116n(5553) is not a generic version, and it could be a customized version for the local market, that means you cannot upgrade it to the generic firmware version for the EU hardware:

You may show us the region version of the WR902AC on the device bottom label, we will confirm.


BTW, may I know which country are you based, and where did you purchase the device?
