Home Wireless Network Set-up
Hello. So we're planning to modify our network set-up. At the moment, we only have a Fiber modem where all of our devices are connected.
Our plan is to add a TP-Link device that would extend the wireless signal but at the same time wired devices would be able to connect to the said device. So it would look like this:
Fiber Modem wirelessly connected to TP-Link device. It has to be wireless.
TP-Link device then will have both wired and wireless connections to other devices (laptop, desktop, etc).
I've been eyeing the Archer A6/C6 but I've been getting mixed advice from different people I've talked to in the past few days. Some say that the set-up is possible with WDS Bridge on the Archer A6, some say it's not. So I'm rather confused.
My question is, what would be the most cost-effective TP-Link device for the set-up? Any feedback will be very much appreciated.
