Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: AX11000(EU)_V1_200216

   Hi All,

Got a Archer AX11000 last week. Problem is that it has very slow

2.4 Ghz Wifi connection speeds. Even when less than 1 meter

   from router.

My connection to ISP is 250 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload.

AX11000 management page speed test confirms it.

Archer AX11000 connected to ISP Box ( Ziggo) via 2.5 Gbps port.

Speed connection via 2.4 Ghz ( I have no 5 Ghz capable devices)
is much worst than the Wifi provided by the ISP provider. I plan on

using 5 Ghz later. Wanted the Router to primarily improve the 2.4 Ghz

   connection speed.

Speed are 20 Mbps at 5 meters to 48 Mbps when less than 20 cm
   from the AX11000 router antenas...

If I use the Wifi from the ISP Router can get to 150 t0 180 Mbps with no

big effort when 1 meter from router.

Signal strenght at the same distance, when measured  with Wifi Channel Graph

Apps is 60% of signal from ISP Wifi Router...

   What I did for troubleshooting:

   - Tried first with shipped firmware.
   - Upgraded to latest firmware.
   - Turned to router on and off.
   - Turned off 5 Ghz
   - Tried with SSID visible or invisible
   - Tried three different Android phones
   - Two different Laptops both with Windows/Linux dual boot

Connection speed tops for all at the 48 to 49 Mbps with 2.4 Ghz
Was expecting much better looking at the specs of the AX11000 and the price.

I have no other devices using Wifi bands and no other signals are close

that could interfere.  No overlapping channels from neigbours or that
   type of problem.

Its an expensive router to offer worst Wifi quality than I can get

now with devices more than 4 years old...

Anybody else seeing the same ?  Suggestions ?
Is there a new beta version of firmware ?

   Best Regards,
   John Sina

Just got this router last night , i am rocking a 1GBIT Full Duplex connection and my ethernet speeds on my pc are just about as great as my old C7 : 950 down / 400 up But my Wi-fi speeds are capped at 97/mbs on both 2.4ghz and 5 ghz I am still fighing with the customer service from my ISP but reading more into it it looks like this router has big wifi 6 issues..

Hello all, apologies for the late answer.

Please check and ensure the QoS settings match the bandwidth provided by your ISP or you may simply disable it to give it a go:

Change its 2.4GHz channel to 1/6/11, channel width to 40MHz; Try different 5GHz channels, channel width to 80MHz or even 160MHz, save and reboot the router.
