Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1030.29.329.2019

I have an Archer T2U Nano and I am limited to 150Mbps on it. I am on a 5Ghz connection, so it should be 433Mbps as per the advertised capability of the device. This is the output of the command "netsh wlan show interfaces" on my PC:

There is 1 interface on the system:

    Name                   : Wi-Fi 3
Description            : TP-Link Wireless Nano USB Adapter
    GUID                   : a3235346-7dc6-4754-94cf-7a5281f43118
    Physical address       : d0:37:45:87:ba:c8
    State                  : connected
    SSID                   : NUS_STU
    BSSID                  : 24:f2:7f:09:63:11
    Network type           : Infrastructure
    Radio type             : 802.11n
    Authentication         : WPA2-Enterprise
    Cipher                 : CCMP
    Connection mode        : Auto Connect
    Channel                : 116
    Receive rate (Mbps)    : 150
    Transmit rate (Mbps)   : 150
    Signal                 : 96%
    Profile                : NUS_STU

Hosted network status  : Not available

On my laptop which has an Intel AC9260, I can see that the command output shows 300Mbps instead of 150Mbps and the resulting connection is much faster than the one I get on my desktop with this adapter.

I am using Windows 10 drivers I got from this page: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-t2u-nano/#Driver

What can I do to get the full speed from this adapter?

And the problem might be that for the T2U nano, it could not negotiate to 802.11ac.

So please try to install the following driver instead(shared the same chipset with T2U v3):

@Kathy_Z

Just signed up to say thank you, this was the fix for me! Was only getting around 20Mbps download with the T2U Nano v1, now I'm getting 110Mbps download on my network. I was trying all sorts to try troubleshooting (different USB ports, chipset drivers, checking BIOS settings), but lo and behold that driver was the fix! Not sure why the driver listed on the support page for the T2U Nano v1 does not work properly for me, but that driver you linked is the real deal! Cheers!

Re:Archer T2U Nano V1 low Wifi Upload speed on 5 Ghz network

@Kathy_Z

Hi,

Model: Archer T2u Nano

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version : https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201906/20190606/Archer%20T2U%20Nano_V1_190527_Win10.zip

Driver Version : 1030.29.329.2019

I bought Tp link AC600 Archer t2u nano, have updated the driver from the above mentioned link.

On 5 Ghz Network, Not facing issue w.r.t. download speed (getting full 200- 230 mbps as per network plan), but the upload speed is slower (90-110mbps) than it should be (190-230 Mbps) and slower than it is on other devices(190-230 mbps) on the same network. Also my main router is placed next to my Windows 10 PC.

Configuration Details -

Name                   : Wi-Fi 2
Description            : TP-Link Wireless Nano USB Adapter
    State                  : connected
    Radio type             : 802.11ac
    Authentication         : WPA2-Personal
    Network Band          : 5 Ghz
    Network Channel     : 40
Link Speed - Receive rate (Mbps)    : 433
                         Transmit rate (Mbps)   : 433

Also wanted to know if the following driver suggested by you in a previous similar issue, which is actually for V3 would work with V1?

https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201911/20191128/T2Uv3_windows_Driverfils.zip

Kindly assist with the same.

Thanks and Regards,

Agam.
