Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 4.0.3 Build 20190326 Rel.43406

Hello,

I have recently purchased 4220 adapters. Everything works perfectly, wifi, speed.

But every x days, one of the adapters disappears from the network. Stop connecting the wifi and it is not accessible from the web configuration. The device is visible from the other receiver, but its speed is 0Mbps. This has already happened to me on both devices. Both devices are directly connected to plugs without going through power strips.

Your wifi is visible from but does not link to the adapter. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to make it accessible again.

After unplugging

Firmware is the one that brings the device from the factory.

@Serafin

This seems to be a common problem with firmware build 20190326 and tp-link need to do something about it.

One possible solution in the meantime is to downgrade firmware, as described in these 2 threads:

TL-WPA4220 loses internet connectivity after few days of uptime

Downgrade from TL-WPA4220(US)_V4_190326 to TL-WPA4220(US)_V4_180514

I downgraded to version 4.0.2 Build 20180308 Rel.37064 in March this year and the device has been rock solid after more than 2 months uptime.

@videodrome Thanks for the reply. Today one of the extensor failed again. I will try that version.

I can not believe TP-Link does not fixe this issue.
