Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20190124 Rel. 56886

Hi

I've a Wi-Fi Range Extender AC1750 RE450, which works well, except when I need to connect to the company's VPN.

I use a Macbook Pro, with macOS Catalina 10.15.5, and the connection to the VPN is made using FortiClient.

As soon as the connection to the VPN is authorized, the Wi-Fi signal drops. In seconds. And it stays until I leave the VPN or the VPN is automatically disconnected for lack of signal.

This occurs ONLY when I'm connected to the Extender. If I'm connected to the main Router or a 4G modem, access to the VPN works normally.

This is extremely annoying..

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this problem?

Best regards,

Diogo

@jordi_luiss Hi! In my case, the TP-Link support has resolved the sittuation changing my IP range on main router... Was 192.168.1.x and now is 192.168.3.x... Now, the internet never goes down! I hope this works for you.
