Archer AX6000 Firmware upgrade ruined everything. Cant go back?
Hi bought the Archer AX6000 and i was happy enough with it. NO real issues.
Yesterday I got an update for firmware, which i did using the Routers inbuilt tool.
Then the problems began.
I couldnt reconnect any of my Google Home speakers each complaining the Netowrk was in AP mode, which is clearly wasnt.
I factory reset the router and started from scratch which took a considerable ammount of time but i still cannot get the home network back to its pre Firmware upgrade state.
All day yesterday your support site was offline for me which is pretty unacceptable, there was no way i could get the old Firmware downloaded so....
I eventually gave up and today have downloaded the 2 previous official EU firmwares. 2020/02/12 and 2019/08/02.
Unzipped them and connected to the router via rj45 to flashback to the previous version... Its not the first time i do firmware i know what im doing.
AND... Nope it just says nope. cannot do it. It wont accept an older file?
Please i am so fed up with this damn router.
I thought id be upgrading to a decent wifi6 experaince with everything i need for the next 5 years but nope its a massive pain in the arse to be honest and im regrettting the purchase.
I cant even find patch notes on the firmware that got updated.... its like its a ghost release
PLEASE PLEASE

Morning tp-link engineers: I too am having a similar problem as the rest, at least once a day my WAN side drops out and I need to do a manual Release/Refresh to get it back. The workaround is simple but annoying and am looking for a better resolution asap.
Cheers.

Hello, do you mean you want to downgrade to the previous firmware from the 1.1.0 version? Sorry that this version is not allowed to downgrade to the previous version.
Can you describe your problem in detail after upgraded to this version? We will ask our engineers to follow it up with highest priority, thanks.

My main issue at present is that parental controls are not working at all in the beta version that was posted here. It does not block anything, and does not stop the internet when you tell it to. Also the WiFi is still a bit unstable and not as reliable as before.

I tried the Beta Version!
And it's worse. I had to desactivate the 5Ghz module but after few hours, the 2Ghz is not working anymore.
It's not stable and I have to reboot the router to get wifi back...
I am done with this router, buying another one from another brand.
Good luck!

I have a fix that worked for me.
Firstly log into router, click ADVANCED.
Click SYSTEM TOOLS.
Go down to - System Parameters
My AP isolation was on I turned it off, now xboxes talk to each other, chromecasting works and printer is able to be found. I hope this helps.

@Mobiuss
You are still on the 1.1.0 build not the 1.1.2 beta
The problem now is that a lot of us are stuck on a broken beta firmware where that fix does not work and we cant roll back to a working firmware because safeguards to allow rollback from betas seem to be too difficult for the "engineers" to build.

@Efour Here is the Fix Until they correct the firmware.
1> Turn off Smart connect and save.
2> Wireless>Advanced>2.4ghz
3> Channel width 20 MHZ
4> Channel =1
