Hi all. As of yesterday i've added two Archer C6 to my network (already have 1 Archer C7). I must say the GUI of the C7 and the C6 are worlds apart, with the first much more user friendly. :)

 

The C7 has a very easy way of turning off the Guest WIFI network:

 

 

This seems impossible to do with the C6's

 

 

I have no way of selecting *just* the Guest WIFI network. Is this something not possible with the C6's or am I missing something?

 

As of other requirements I cant have the whole WIFI network go offline.

 

Note: the C6's are setup in AP-mode.

Hello, actually the settings for Guest Network on the Archer C6 are quite similar to that on the Archer C7. Can you please show me the screenshot of the login main page of C6 after you logged in as well as the Guest Network setting page?

Thanks for the screenshots.

 

This is actually the same setting as on the C7. Do you mean you cannot add a schedule for the Guest Network after switching to AP mode? If so, I'm afraid we cannot and there is no schedule set up for the guest network on the latest versions.

 

Back to the screenshots you attached for the Archer C7, it is for an quite old version and we have already removed those settings.

 

We will feedback to the related department again and ask them to evaluate this request.

Indeed I can't add a schedule just for the Guest network. This is not only so in AP-mode but also in router mode, there is no option to do this. If I understand you correctly then I should be able to schedule the guest network in router mode? Correct?

 

The C7 is completly up2date. I have the V2 model and running the latest firmware avaliable. 

Firmware Version:

3.15.3 Build 180305 Rel.51282n

Hi!

 

I have the same problem. I want to scedule my guest network but the current firmware only allows sceduling including the main WIFI.

Is this feature removed from the settings or is there planning to get it back?

Regarding about "schedule set up for the guest network" subject, you supposed to feed-back us over a year ago.


Any news from the related department?
