I recently set up a deco M5 and all devices required me to enter a password to join the new wifi network however I had 2 people over today, one was asked for a password while the other was able to connect without a password. 

 

In my deco app settings both the main and guest networks require password. Why was somebody able to join the network without a password? Please advise.

@M4F83 I just joined my wireless network with an incorrect password.  It need to be 8 characters, but other than that, it let me in.  Will continue to try to understand this issue.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi, would you be able to connect it every time without the incorrect password?

Have you tried to delete the previous wireless profile and search for Wi-Fi and try to connect again to see whether the issue is still here?
