Deco M4 doesn’t work well with Android devices
Just bought and replaced 3 days ago my ISP router TP-Link Archer C5 to TP-Link Mesh M4. Generally working well as the I managed to get 100-105mbps download and 50-55mbps upload through speedtest with my 100mbps plan which I never managed to get with the Archer C5 (generally within 30-60mbps).
However, there is a concern as it seems my Mesh M4 doesn't work well with Android devices.
No issue with iPhone XS Max, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6 and iPad however all the other Android devices such as Leagoo M12, Samsung A50, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Tab A and TX3 Mini TV Box are facing random disconnect (disable and enable network or forget network and reconnect is working however the frequency can be within 1-2hours or even as little as 15-20mins; this is getting frustrating).
The current setup is ISP Modem > Deco M4 > Deco M4, I have tried the below but it seems the problem is still there:-
1) Bringing the slave unit nearer to the main unit
2) Turn off the 5ghz and only keeping 2.4ghz on
3) Swap the main unit and slave unit
I have yet to try to change the setup to ISP Modem > Archer C5 (keep on or turn on Wifi) > Deco M4 > Drco M4. Not sure if this will change anything?
I am pretty sure something is not right, not sure if it is the firmware or so because previously with Archer C5 I never encountered such issue though the Wifi is slower & signal is weaker.
Please advise on how can I have this fix or share me the link of the updated firmware if any.
