Dear All,

 

i have a router model Archer D7 and I would like to create a Mash wifi in my home,

so I would like to buy a N°1 of Tp-Link Deco E4, connect via Eternet on the the second floor.

 

my doubt is, in this way i can create a mash wi-fi with only ONE Tp-Link Deco E4 connected via Eternet to the Ruter Arched D7?

 

could you help me?

Hi, for your issue, I would like to answer it for you.

When you connect the Deco E4 and the Archer D7 by Ethernet cable, only the network between the Deco E4 is mesh network.

The Deco which is connected D7 by cable is the main deco, the other decos can connect the main deco via cable and wireless connection to make up the mesh network.

As for the Archer D7, it doesn't support Mesh feature, either.
