Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200326 rel.61977(5553)

Hello,

I've seen that there have been problems with S10 devices connecting to AX routers and it appears that there is a similar issue with the Archer AX1800.  I believe I have the latest firmware.  S10 devices can connect, but when you leave the house and come back, it fails to autoconnect.  You can select connect and it spins like it's trying and then doesn't connect.  Forgetting the network and reconnecting sometimes works.  It's a hybrid 2.4 and 5 Ghz main network if that matters.  If you need any more info, please ask.

Hello, thanks for reporting the issue.

May I know the model and version of this S10 devices? Are all behaving the same? How about other wireless phones or devices, can they connect automatically when coming back?

Can you please also show me the hardware version label of this AX1800 as well as its firmware on its web UI? We will soon check and look further into this issue.

@Kevin_Z

One of the S10 devices is model number SM-G975U hardware version REV1.0 and I should have the other later today.  They seem to behaving similarly.  I'm having trouble telling what the cause of the intermittent connection issues are.  Sometimes when I'm just browsing the web, I loose connection and have to attempt reconnection multiple times even though the signal is strong.  Previously, I had issues with two laptops using Intel wireless chips but there seems to be no problems after updating the drivers.

Hi, thanks for the details.

Are both SM-G975U running the latest Android 10 version? Please try to reset the AX1800 to factory defaults and set it up again, then check if the SM-G975U will connect stably.

BTW, does this SM-G975U connect to 2.4GHz network or 5GHz? If it is connecting to the 5G network, please try to change the Wireless Mode to 802.11a/n/ac mixed.

May it help.

Thanks for the tips, but I seem to be still having issues.  It has been in mixed mode this whole time.
