To use the latest supported 802.11AX wireless network card, I bought TX3000E to work with my Wi-Fi 6 router, but unfortunately, it brought me great difficulties to install and use it. My computer did not even recognize its wireless existence.

 

TP-Link FAQ display requires the computer to detect the network card device, but my computer cannot identify the device. It doesn't show anything in the device manager.

 

After looking up relevant information on the forum and consulting relevant personnel of TP-Link, they gave me some suggestions, hoping to bring some help to you.

 

Suggestion one:

Change another PCI-E port, especially don’t use the PCI-E 16X, you can use PCI-E 4X/1X or other ports.

 

I change to install my TX3000E to the PCI-E 1X interface.

 

Suggestion two:

Upgrade the BIOS on the motherboard.

 

Since I was using ASUS H170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard, I updated my BIOS on the official site.

 

 

So excited to me it worked, I could see the TX3000E in my device manager and installed the driver to use!!!

 

Suggestion Three:

Get into Windows safe mode to install the TX3000E.

 

One forum user told me that he successfully installed the network card after entering safe mode.

He shared TP-Link's official information with me, which may help some people.

Suggestions Four:

Test the adapter on another motherboard/computer.

 

If you can get the adapter work on another motherboard, it's probably incompatible with the specific motherboard, you will need to work it out with the TP-Link engineers. Prepare the model number of your motherboard that is not working with the adapter in case they need to investigate or debug.

 

Suggestions Five:

I also saw some customers in the community mentioned their adapter cannot be detected adapter the PC is restarted, I, fortunately, don't have this issue with mine, but I think you can try to disable the Power Management on the PC to give it a shot.

 

You can launch the Device Manager, double click the Wireless Adapter, then you will find the Power Management, uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power, save this to monitor again:

Hello everyone,

 

  • If your PCIe Wireless adapter is not recognized or network adapter disappears in after waking up from sleep mode,

check more tips here  that may help with your case. 

Fix: TX3000E/TX50E/TX75E Wi-Fi Adapter Not Recognized or Disappears after Waking up from Sleep Mode

 

1. check PCIe slot configuration  settings in Bios

2. check if there is M.2 Slots that might affect PCIe Slots. 

 

  • If TX3000E /TX50E's  hardware is detected in device manager, but got some other problems like Windows Error code or other Error while using the adapter ,

please try the Intel latest driver (which is 22.140 for now)  from link below:

Hey! I installed my card correctly and I'm getting it to work fine. Next day I turn on my pc and it won't find it anymore...not even in device manager... To get it to work i have to reïnstall the card and restart my pc...Same thing over and over again. Tried all your suggestions: -bios update -safe mode -driver update -windows update -diffferent pci port. Maybe you have any idea? System: Gigabyte Aorus x470 ultra gaming AMD Ryzen 7 2700x Hyper Fury 16GB ram Gigabyte GTX 2060 Thanks!

Good Day,

I just bought the this Archer TX3000E today. I have a Aorus x470 ultra gaming. I already tried to update the BIOS, do the safe mode. But everytime i shutdown my PC, same issue happen. Is there any permanent fix on this?

Yo! Well ...nope. As you can see I contacted them a few weeks ago. Sad to say they are lacking in communication. They react with 'have you updated to the latest driver's...' like what do you think? And with 'I've send your case to our head engineer so it will be better taken care of...' no word yet of the egineer. Got 1 email of the engineer saying they are looking into it like 2 weeks ago... And that they contacted the 'chip' company. (I think Gigabyte right?) Think you would be better off bringing the adapter back and fixing another one for the time being.

I have the same problem, the motherboard does not detect the network card, sometimes it detects it but then it disappears. The network card is: AX3000 The motherboard: Gigabyte B550 GAMING X

As shown above, you can try: Windows Save mode, bios update, another pci slot. I doubt that it would work because why should it right...it's TP link. But you never know. Otherwise contacting support is next. It is strange though that you also have a problem with a Gigabyte card.

hi, im facing the same problem. it can detect at night then after i shutdown my pc, the same problem occur. example last night im shutdown my pc at 3am then im opening it back at 10am the card not detected. i already update a new bios, install in safe mode but nothing cure the problem. my spec was ryzen 5 3600 and gigabyte b450 s2h

Hi, I have the same issue.

My computer is based on the MSI H81M-P33 motherboard. I used TP-Link 150Mbps PCI Express wireless card for a long time.
Recently I have bought TP-LINK Archer TX3000E and replaced it.
Unfortunately new card is not detected by Windows 10 (64) now. Strange thing is that its Bluetooth works fine. No WIFI card detected...

Can you advice how it could be solved?

I have tried WiFi_22.0.0_Driver64_Win10.exe , but it didn't help. AX3000 card was still not recognized.
Now the situation is even worse, because I tried to reinstall old WIFI card - that was working not so long ago - and unfortunately TP-Link 150Mbps PCI Express is not recognized too. No WIFI now.

What could go wrong here?

Hello,

I just received my new TX3000e PCIe card and installed it in my very old ASUS Mobo (10 years plus) and its not recognised at all.

I have installed the latest Intel drivers

It dosnt show up in  device manager at all.

I didn't realise there were any other requirments than having a spare 1x PCIe slot and a spare USB header.

 

Is this just not going to work in an old Motherboard?
