P9 connection to other P9 units extemely unstable - please help!

Good evening,

I am struggling to keep two p9 units communicating with the rest of the system. My setup is Sky router/modem to main p9 in AP mode (1). Satellite p9 (2) connects to the main unit (1) and another p9 unit (3) connects to first satellite (2). This section works fine. It is not an ISP issue as both wired devices and the rest of the p9 system are working well. The problem area is the other two p9 units in the back office - one of which has a direct line of sight to the second satellite (2) and also has a strong signal to (3). This drops every few minutes and struggles to reconnect. The story is the same for another p9 unit that needs to connect to the second satellite (3). They have very good signal strength when connected, but the issue is their instability, which makes the entire system not fit for purpose. I have turned off both fast roaming and beamforming, which has made no difference. Any ideas, or is this the same issue that others have flagged up with the p9 in AP mode and is it time to look for a different system? Thank you for help!

@CWL

Hello, apologies for the super late reply. Please confirm some basic info so that we can speed up the whole process and offer a solution:

1. Refer to the troubleshooting guide to narrow down the issue:

Unstable connection with Deco

2. What is the distance between the two P9s in the back office? How are they connected to the other P9 in the main house? Is the main P9 a Router or an Access Point? What is the LED status on the two P9s in the back office when the network disconnects?

3. How often does the disconnection issue happen and how do you make it back to work?

4. Are all clients disconnecting from the network or just some of them? Is the wireless still connected but showing no internet access or it got disconnected from the network?

Thanks for your cooperation and look forward to your reply.
