  @David-TP

Please consider adding the following features to the Deco X60 (Version 3).

My Deco X60 is having difficulty connecting to the 5 GHz network. I’m located in Bangladesh, where most mobile devices operate on Band 4 (channels 149–165) within the 5 GHz frequency range. It seems that the current firmware on my Deco X60 does not support these higher channels.

Therefore, I kindly request that you develop and release a beta firmware update for the Deco X60 (Version 3, US model) that includes the following improvements:

  1. Manual channel selection for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

  2. Support for the 5 GHz Band 4 spectrum (channels 149–165) to ensure compatibility with devices commonly used in Bangladesh.

Enabling these features would greatly enhance the functionality and compatibility of the Deco X60, providing better network optimization and seamless connectivity with my devices. I believe this update would also benefit many users in regions with similar 5 GHz band usage patterns.

  @David-TP Hi. Great  news!!

Is this beta firmware compatible with x20v4, it's the same hardware platform?

After the update

1. After rebooting, the X50 doesn't select the optimal channel/you need to press OPTIMIZE. On 1.7.1, the optimal one was selected immediately.

2. The Intel Ax203 only connects to AC; previously, it was AX.

3. AX Roaming problem. Connect to poor signal DECO X50  , until near x20v4 1.6.6 (everything is fine on 1.7.1)

Update!

I deleted the adapter in my PC settings a couple of times. Everything worked fine, but after reboot again - AC only

Yes, roaming is bad, and you can't go back to 1.7.1.

Just installed on my system (main Deco X3000-5G, 5 X50 and 1 X50-outdoor, all connected by ethernet backhaul). The first impression is greater responsiveness in Wi‑Fi clients and in the update of information within the app. Two questions: 1) i cannot find "traffic usage" and "device connection informaion", where i can find in the app? 2) x50 client are solid red after the firmware upgrade, but all appears to be good. why led are all red, and not solid green like before? thanks! Alex

  @ARGamingPK1

I have 2 Deco X60 and 3 Deco M9 units. Even when setting the connection preference to the X60s, which are closer, the X50 Outdoor always connects to the more distant M9, resulting in a weak connection.
