I have change my internet provider and my wifi network password as well but my network name remains the same as the old one.

1) I guese i need to reconfig the extender. Do I?

I am trying to connect the extender to a computer with a network cable but it requires a password

2) I do not remember my password. How can I reset it?

Hello,

 

Yes, if you change your router's password, you need to reconfigure the RE200.

 

RESET: Please use a pin to press and hold the reset button for more than 8 seconds to reset the RE200 to its factory default settings. If you can see all the lights flashing, then go off and some lights go back on slowly, that means the device has been reset successfully.

 

You can try to use the Tether app to configure it, here is a FAQ yo can refer to set up it:

Note:
Please use your home wifi password to configure the RE200.


We suggest you customize the network name for the extender. You can see it in step 5.
